Tick tock!

The days go by and here I am about three weeks since my last post. Many wonderful things have happened since then, but I will write about today. A friend of mine from college had her first child (at age 45ish) just two months ago! We talked on the phone and she sent me pictures of her daughter. Amazing. Amazing.

Then spent a portion of the afternoon with my neighbor and her daughter - working in the yard, raking leaves, clearing out dead leaves and branches.

So nice to have time for visiting, catching up with life and relaxing...

A Beautiful Day

So today I got to walk in the park! Sounds small, but I haven't been there in a while. First, I saw someone who must have been a personal trainer working with her clients, then many others walking around the track, then lots of folks walking or biking along the paved trail. It was so nice to see so many people out, being healthy and enjoying the fine weather. A woman I didn't know approached me and asked me if I knew what kind of flowers were growing next to where we were standing. I had noticed them earlier myself and had wondered what they were called. Neither of us knew, but it was nice to share that moment of admiration for some beautiful signs of spring!

Yes, there is still good in the world!

I'm sure of it! One way or another, I want to help get the word out that there are still things to be happy about; and there are still people out there doing wonderful things. So take notice, and share your stories with me - I'll post 'em here and we can all benefit from taking a look at the bright side.
